چکیده
(2008) Construction of an Indian muntjac BAC library and production of the most highly dense FISH map of the species. Zoological Studies 47(3): xxx-xxx. Following completion of the genome sequences of some mammalian species, comparative genomic studies in mammals have been actively conducted to assess gene changes or to identify syntenic conservation during evolution. The Indian muntjac (Muntiacus muntjac vaginalis) (2n=6 in the female and 7 in the male) may have evolved from an ancient deer species with a karyotype 2n=70 through extensive chromosome rearrangements creating the lowest chromosome number of a mammalian species. Therefore, the species has become a good resource for studying syntenic conservation among deer species. An Indian muntjac bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) library that contains 126,336

Review: Use of Highly unsaturated fatty acid (HUFA) in Ornamental Fish Feeds
Ornamental fish production, like all other segments of aquaculture, relies heavily on the successful spawning, hatching, and survival of larvae. Little is known about the nutrient requirements of most ornamental fish species. In many cultivars of fishes, such as Ornamental fish, especially in those new Ornamental fish species introduced to the aquaculture industry, the rate of fecundity is an i...

An experiment on the polyculture of carps with high valued small indigenous fish species (SIS) pabda (Ompok pabda) and gulsha (Mystus cavasius) was carried out in six months culture period to evaluate the production performance of carp with small indigenous fish pabda (Ompok pabda) and gulsha (Mystus cavasius) in the on-farm condition. Three stocking densities of pabda and gulsha were tested, k...

متن کاملDynamics of a Single Point Mooring Marine Aquaculture Cage as a Simple Vibrating System
The increasing world demand for fish cannot be met by capture fisheries. Aquaculture production is increasing and nowadays cage culture has an important role in meeting the world’s fish demand. The design of the physical structure of a cage is determined by the oceanographic conditions of the culture site. Each design is site-specific and knowledge of the topography, wind force and direct...

The rapid development of fish farming and the increasing demand for fish have led to the dense cultivation of fish, which in turn has caused stressors for fish and thus increased the risk of disease. until now, the use of chemicals has been widely used for prevention and treatment, however, the use of chemical drugs has several negative effects on the environment (creation of resistant strains ...
